On February 3, 2026, the National Anti-Corruption Directorate was notified through a call to the Anti-Corruption Call Center, where a man reported that the doctor had requested the respective amount to fulfill his duties. Following the report, the case prosecutor and the police intervened and confirmed the act, seizing the amount of money received by the doctor. On February 4, 2026, the prosecutor ordered the continuation of the criminal investigation, and the doctor acquired the status of suspect, with preventive measures to be decided upon.
