The DNA prosecutors conducted searches on Thursday at several ride-sharing companies in Bucharest, in a tax evasion case with an estimated damage of 61 million lei. The action took place on March 19, 2026, based on authorizations issued by the court, targeting five locations in Bucharest and Ilfov County, including the homes of individuals and the offices of the involved companies.

The investigation focuses on suspicions of tax evasion committed between January 2019 and August 2025 by various companies and their representatives, in connection with alternative passenger transport activities. The DNA continues its investigations to determine the scope and details of the crimes.
