Judicial sources confirm that DIICOT Central is conducting searches at the Pension House of Bucharest Municipality, in a fraud case in which the Romanian state is said to have been harmed by over 7 million lei. The fraudulent mechanism involves the introduction of tax declarations no. 112, which are 10 years old, in which false work seniorities were reported for various individuals, thus generating sums of money collected illegally.

Although additional details about the mechanism are not available, the damage of 7 million lei is calculated only up to the year 2024, in order not to affect the investigation. In this case, a Pension House employee, a judicial expert, an accountant, and several companies are targeted. DIICOT has initiated searches and will bring the suspect individuals in for questioning to clarify their involvement in these illegal activities.
