Cristin Nicolae Popa, the executive director of ANCOM, stated that the digital education of citizens represents the greatest current vulnerability, emphasizing the importance of correct information in the face of cyber threats. At the Cybersecurity Forum conference, he mentioned that, although state institutions collaborate effectively and have made progress in the interoperability of databases, it is essential to aspire to excellence.

Popa emphasized that network security is not just a technical issue, but requires a preventive approach to avoid cyber attacks. He also mentioned the progress in the implementation of 5G technology, with 6,800 base stations installed by February. The Cybersecurity Forum event will address topics such as protection against cybercrime and fraud attempts.
