A 55-year-old tourist died in Piatra Craiului, and the mountain rescuers intervened for other serious accidents in Parâng, Neamț, and Argeș.

On Saturday, Salvamont Zărnești intervened to save a 55-year-old man on the Fântâna lui Botorog–Poiana Zănoaga trail, who suffered a cardiac arrest. The rescue team arrived quickly at the scene, but despite their efforts, the man could not be saved. The lifeless body was transported to the IML.

On the same day, the rescuers from Gorj intervened to help two young people who were seriously injured after overturning an ATV in Parâng. They were urgently transported to the hospital.

Difficult interventions also took place in the counties of Neamț and Argeș, where rescuers provided first aid to tourists with leg injuries, including a man with a fracture at Vf. Toaca and another who slipped on ice. These incidents highlight the risks associated with mountain activities in the winter season.
