The Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, stated that the protest organized by the Mureș union within the National Administration 'Apele Române' represents only 30% of the employees and that salaries cannot be increased without a reform of the institution. Buzoianu emphasized the need for reorganization to eliminate corruption and improve employee performance.

Although she acknowledges the issues related to salaries, she stated that income cannot be increased for those who do not actively contribute to results. The minister mentioned that reforms could bring salary benefits for high-performing employees.

She also accused union leaders of influencing the protesters and emphasized that the union did not react to previous reorganizations that affected the work structure. The protest will take place on Thursday, between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, in front of the central headquarters of Apele Române and at the Ministry of Environment.
