AUR has submitted a request approved by the Permanent Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies, calling on the Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, to provide explanations in Parliament on December 8. She is invited to discuss the drinking water crisis that has affected 100,000 people in the counties of Dâmbovița and Prahova, caused by the works at the Paltinu reservoir.

Buzoianu accused the Romanian Waters and local authorities of failing to provide warnings regarding this situation. She also announced that the resumption of water supply will only be possible next week, and residents are receiving water from the State Reserves. Although a simple motion against her was previously rejected, voices from PSD are now calling for her dismissal. It is unclear whether Buzoianu will accept the invitation to attend the debate.
