The head of the Special Assistance Directorate (DGASPC) in Sibiu, Liliana Agârbiceanu, reported on Tuesday the difficulties encountered in the process of relocating over 400 patients from the unauthorized facilities of Viorel Pașca, an operation carried out by DIICOT. She highlighted that the beneficiaries were often taken in without the necessary medical and social documentation, having only provisional identity cards or bank cards.

The Minister of Labor, Dragoș Pîslaru, stated that he was not informed about this operation. DGASPC Sibiu received 21 beneficiaries, most of whom have severe disabilities and many do not have health insurance.

The institution has requested the issuance of specific procedures for managing emergency situations, considering that the current regulatory framework does not cover such cases. The priorities of DGASPC include the medical evaluation of beneficiaries and identifying their relatives, despite the difficulties generated by the lack of information. DGASPC Sibiu continues to collaborate with authorities to ensure social and medical services appropriate to the needs of relocated individuals.
