An individual from Iasi County was subject to DGAF control for having provided funeral services between 2019-2024, collecting the amounts through personal accounts without declaring them. She used REVOLUT accounts to evade tax checks, resulting in a loss of over 1.3 million lei. ANAF has launched control actions in the funeral services sector, given the high tax risks identified. DGAF continues to fight tax evasion in order to protect the public budget.
