Wildfires have destroyed 500 hectares of wheat in Tulcea and damaged farms, while in Maramureș and Vâlcea firefighters are battling the blaze.

Wildfires have caused significant damage in several counties. In Tulcea, a fire destroyed almost 500 hectares of wheat and affected three farms, one of which burned 80% of its surface. In Maramureș, another fire burned 2 hectares of vegetation, requiring the intervention of 26 firefighters and a Black Hawk helicopter. In Vâlcea, firefighters battled for hours with the blaze in Câineni, where intervention forces were mobilized to assess and extinguish the fire.
