A truck loaded with refrigerators caught fire on the A1, in the direction of Timișoara - Deva. Firefighters are intervening to extinguish the fire that affects the semi-trailer by 80%.

A fire broke out on a truck on the A1 highway, at kilometer 459, in the direction of Timișoara - Deva, around 5:25 PM. Military firefighters were called to intervene, and three fire trucks from the Lugoj Detachment and the Topolovățu Mare Work Point, as well as a 30,000-liter water tanker from the Timișoara Firefighters Detachment 2, were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival of the crews, it was found that the semi-trailer, loaded with refrigerators, was engulfed in flames to an extent of 80%, while the tractor unit was uncoupled and not affected by the fire. Firefighters continue to intervene to extinguish the fire.
