Devastating fire in Năvodari: one person deceased and residents evacuated

On Friday evening, a violent fire broke out in an apartment located on the third floor of a building in Năvodari, prompting the rapid intervention of firefighters. Four SMURD teams, a ladder truck, a platform truck, four fire engines, and a special vehicle for transporting multiple victims were dispatched to the scene.

The firefighters found a deceased person inside the residence, and evacuating the residents was a priority, with 26 adults and four children being removed from the building. Another 14 people managed to exit on their own. Three women and a child are currently being evaluated by medical teams. The fire was difficult to manage, and authorities continue to investigate its causes.
