On Tuesday evening, firefighters from Constanța were called to intervene to extinguish a fire that broke out in an apartment in a social building located on Aleea Umanității, in the Henri Coandă neighborhood. At 7:30 PM, ISU Constanța activated the Red Intervention Plan, considering the extent of the fire, which was spreading throughout the entire building with a height of P+2. Preliminary information indicated that several people might be trapped inside. In support of the intervention teams, all available medical resources from the county were directed, including two fire trucks from ISU Ialomița. Firefighters are carrying out firefighting and search-rescue missions. At the scene, a 58-year-old man was transported to the hospital by SMURD Fripis after being intoxicated by smoke. The intervention is ongoing, and information will be updated as the situation evolves.
