A strong fire broke out at a square in Craiova, affecting restaurants and commercial spaces.

The firefighters from the Dolj Emergency Situations Inspectorate intervened with three water and foam working vehicles to locate and extinguish the flames, and the intervention forces were supplemented with three more vehicles. So far, the cause of the fire has not been established, but it is believed that the fire started from a restaurant located near the market. Until now, no victims have been reported, but an investigation is underway, and the firefighters' mission continues.
