On Saturday morning, a fire affected a leather production hall in Galați, caused, according to ISU Galați, by an electrical short circuit. The fire destroyed the 400 square meter hall, two annexes, a van, a forklift, a tank truck, approximately 90 photovoltaic panels, and various accessories. Fire crews intervened with four fire trucks to limit the spread of the fire to other nearby properties.
