Deutsche Telekom has announced the acquisition of the Fiberhost network operator and the broadband and television service provider Inea from Macquarie Asset Management for an amount of approximately 1 billion euros.

This transaction will allow the transformation of T-Mobile Polska from a mobile phone operator into an integrated telecommunications service provider. The acquisition is subject to approvals from Polish competition authorities and is estimated to be financially completed by the end of 2026. Deutsche Telekom expects this move to add over 300,000 customers and expand the Fiberhost network, which covers 1.4 million households.

In the context of the telecom market in Romania, Deutsche Telekom sold Telekom Romania Mobile Communications, marking a major shift, but continues to strengthen in European markets through strategies for integrating mobile and fixed services.
