During a press conference, President Nicușor Dan was asked about Deputy Prime Minister Dragos Anastasiu, involved in a corruption case in which he admitted that he signed a fictitious contract to disguise a bribe offered to an ANAF official. Dan said he had no information about the case. The government spokesman emphasized that Anastasiu was a witness and was not charged, and that the circumstances of the case do not affect his duties as deputy prime minister.
