Deputy Prime Minister Dragoș Anastasiu called, in a TV program, for the heads of state institutions to voluntarily give up part of their incomes as a sign of solidarity with pensioners and students affected by budget cuts. Although their contracts are "set in stone" and cannot be legally modified, he stressed the importance of voluntary action.
