The AUR deputy Dan Tănasă has once again come into the public eye after he published on X a threatening email received at his personal address. The controversy arose because the message seemed to be sent in his name, which led some to suggest that he might have fabricated the threat himself. Tănasă denied the accusations and explained that he has no connection to that email account, claiming that someone else used his identity. At the same time, the deputy reported that he frequently receives threats and insults through Messenger.
