Dan Jørgensen, European Commissioner, will visit Romania to participate in the ministerial meeting of the High-Level Group for Energy Connectivity in Central and Southeast Europe (CESEC), organized by the European Commission and the Ministry of Energy. Jørgensen will meet with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan and will have bilateral discussions with several officials, including the Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan.
During the CESEC meeting, topics such as achieving the REPowerEU objectives, phasing out imports of fossil fuels from Russia, integrating energy markets, and accelerating infrastructure projects will be addressed. The Commissioner will also visit the Central Energy Dispatch, managed by Transelectrica, and will discuss actions to reduce energy prices.
