The Court of Auditors' audit of the High Court of Cassation and Justice revealed wide discrepancies in the salaries of judicial staff, with the exception of magistrates. The recommendations include the promotion of a law for unitary salaries, strengthening the authority of the principal authorizing officer and improving internal control mechanisms. It is also proposed to analyze the legality of salaries and to implement an IT system to monitor salary entitlements in view of the growing number of disputes related to salaries.
