Between 21-26 July 2025, the Labor Inspectorate conducted a national campaign in the HoReCa sector, identifying 161 workers without legal forms of employment and applying 419 fines, totaling 3,710,800 lei. The inspectors carried out 888 checks on labor relations and 671 on health and safety, finding irregularities in working conditions and exposing workers to specific risks. Remedial measures were also ordered for the non-compliances identified.
