The National Company for Road Investments has awarded the contract for the A8 Târgu Neamț-Iași section to the Danlin XXL association, with an offer of 4.76 billion lei.

The National Company for Road Investments awarded, on Thursday, the contract for the construction of the first section of the A8 Highway Târgu Neamț (Moțca)-Iași-Ungheni to the association Danlin XXL (leader) - Groma Hold Ltd - Intertranscom Impex - Europeiski Patishta. The winning bid was 4.76 billion lei, and the design and execution contract can be signed within 10 days, if no complaints are filed.

The section is 27 kilometers long and includes technical challenges such as 36 bridges and overpasses, 4 tunnels, and 3 road junctions. The total duration for completion is 46 months, of which 10 months for design and 36 months for execution. An additional score will be awarded to the contractor who completes a segment of 5.5 kilometers in a maximum of 12 months.
