The National Meteorological Administration has issued code yellow heat warnings for Thursday and Friday, targeting areas such as Maramureș, Crișana, Banat and Transylvania. In these regions, maximum temperatures are expected to reach 33-37 degrees Celsius and high discomfort. The temperature-fog index will exceed the critical threshold in the western and north-western regions. The heatwave will persist in the west and southwest of the country on Saturday.
