Meteorologists have issued a Code Orange warning of heavy showers, hail and thunderstorms for Bucharest and Ilfov, and a RO-Alert message has been issued.

The Code Orange storm warning is in effect for Bucharest and Ilfov until 8.10 pm, with heavy downpours that will accumulate 25-40 l/mp, thunderstorms, strong winds and hail. An RO-Alert was also issued warning of a strong gale.
