La Cocoș has inaugurated its sixth hypermarket in Craiova, replacing the former PIC store, with a total area of 16,000 sqm. The investment of 7.3 million euros includes a stock of goods worth 3.7 million euros. At the opening, Adrian Mutu and Cătălin Moroșanu were present. Recently, the German group Schwarz announced its intention to acquire the majority of La Cocoș shares, forming a strategic partnership for the expansion of the brand in Romania and Europe. Iulian Nica, the founder of La Cocoș, emphasized that this partnership will accelerate the company's development, aiming to reach sales of 1 billion euros by 2030. Currently, La Cocoș operates in the counties of Argeș, Brașov, and Prahova, with plans to open 12 new stores in the next 3-5 years.
