CNIR has received new offers for the supervision of the Târgu Frumos – Lețcani section of the A8 Highway, with a value of 57 million lei and a duration of 110 months.

The National Company for Road Investments (CNIR) has announced the receipt of new offers for the supervision contract of the works on section 2 Târgu Frumos – Lețcani, part of the Târgu Neamț – Iași – Ungheni Highway (Union Highway A8). The contract, worth 57 million lei, has a total duration of 110 months, including 46 months for design and execution, and 60 months warranty. The offers have been submitted by various associations and companies, and the supervisor will ensure project management for its timely completion and compliance with quality standards.

The section will include 33 bridges and passages, two tunnels, and three interchanges. CNIR will award additional points to the contractor who prioritizes a 4 km segment that will function as a bypass for the locality of Podu Iloaiei. The funding comes from European funds through the Operational Transport Program and the EU defense fund. Currently, CNIR is evaluating six offers for the actual construction of the segment.
