CNA sanctions Realitatea Plus: the station will interrupt its broadcast for three hours on June 4 after accusations of lack of impartiality.

The National Audiovisual Council sanctioned the Realitatea Plus channel with a three-hour suspension of broadcasting on June 4, after it found repeated violations of the rules regarding impartiality and balance in news and debate broadcasts aired in January. According to the CNA, the channel did not present opposing viewpoints on public interest issues in a balanced manner. In the same meeting, the institution also took measures against some materials published on TikTok, deemed to violate audiovisual legislation regarding the promotion of totalitarian regimes.
