A teacher in Cluj has been remanded in custody for 30 days on charges of sexually assaulting two schoolgirls aged 14 and 15.

The teacher, who taught math and offered tutoring, is wanted on charges of sexually assaulting two underage girls. Prosecutors have proposed a 30-day pre-trial detention after establishing that the defendant subjected the victims to psychological manipulation, using coercion to commit sexual acts. These crimes are severe and seriously undermine social values related to the sexual integrity of minors.
