Classes suspended in four counties due to weather conditions

The Ministry of Education and Research announced the suspension of classes on Monday in one educational institution and the online conduct of activities in four other institutions in the counties of Argeș, Vâlcea, Dolj, and Mehedinți, due to unfavorable weather conditions.

According to information received from the county school inspectorates, the school program was affected in five educational institutions, with one institution in the counties of Vâlcea, Dolj, and Mehedinți and two institutions in Argeș. The suspended classes will be made up later, in the context where winter has brought frost, snow, and blizzards to over half of the country, thus affecting the road infrastructure.
