Physical attendance classes resumed on Monday at the 'Dimitrie Bolintineanu' Theoretical High School in Bucharest, after 15 classrooms were damaged following an explosion in the Rahova neighborhood, which occurred in October. The spokesperson for the Bucharest Municipality School Inspectorate, Camelia Lepădat, announced that the school operates in two shifts, maintaining access restrictions in the affected areas. The explosion resulted in the death of three people and injured 20, while investigators suspect a crack in a gas pipeline as the cause of the incident. Footage taken immediately after the explosion shows shattered windows and pieces of wall fallen in the classrooms.
