City Grill Group, owned by entrepreneur Dragoș Petrescu, has won the auction organized by Patrimoniu Constanța Litoral S.R.L. for the operation of a café/bistro in the Casino of Constanța. The auction was relaunched after the first session was canceled due to a lack of participants.
The space designated for the café has a usable area of 550 square meters, plus a terrace of 324 square meters with a sea view. The casino, built in 1910, was restored over five years, with a budget of 45 million euros. Daniel Mischie, the CEO of City Grill, emphasized the group's commitment to heritage and quality standards. City Grill already owns iconic locations in Bucharest and has expansion plans, aiming for a revenue increase of 7-10% by 2026.
