Ciprian Ciucu, the mayor of Bucharest, expressed his dissatisfaction on Facebook regarding the activity of the General Council and the Board of Administration of STB, accusing them of not fulfilling their responsibilities and only collecting allowances. He emphasized that STB has a current debt of 1.6 billion lei, and the annual costs for public transport service amount to approximately 1.7 billion lei, equivalent to the budget of the municipality of Brașov. Ciucu highlighted that STB consumes resources comparable to those of a sector municipality and stressed the need to take measures to improve the situation, even though STB is not directly under his control. He called for the support of the General Council to address these issues.
