The year 2026 is expected to be a favorable year for travelers, with affordable destinations in Europe and Asia. Bucharest, Tirana, Batumi, and Sofia are at the top of the cheap options, replacing traditional expensive cities.

The capital of Romania is becoming the main alternative to Prague for 2026. A flight in August to Bucharest costs 237 dollars, compared to 417 dollars for Prague. The difference is nearly 180 dollars per person.

Batumi in Georgia offers beaches, nightlife, and casinos at much lower prices than the Greek islands. The vibrant city attracts young travelers in search of sea and entertainment.

For exotic destinations, Sri Lanka is becoming the alternative to Thailand. A flight in August to Bangkok costs 1,468 USD, while a flight to Colombo costs 1,058 USD.
