The Constitutional Court will discuss the granting of three allowances of 180,000 lei each to judges completing their term of office, despite government bans on such payments in the budgetary system. The law allows CCR judges to receive the equivalent of six net salaries upon completion of their term, but the government has stopped such payments for the rest of the civil servants. Sources say the RAC could transfer funds from other budget lines to cover these allowances.
