CCIR continues to develop relations with the Republic of Korea in the defense sector, following the visit of President Mihai Daraban to Seoul. A Korean delegation, led by Byungro Choi, visited INCAS to discuss subcontracting opportunities for Korean investments in Romania. The CCIR is committed to speeding up the process of issuing the necessary permits and preparing the Romania-Korea Defense Industry Day Economic Forum, scheduled for June 19, to facilitate partnerships between Romanian and South Korean companies.
