Cătălin Drulă, vice president of the Chamber of Deputies and USR deputy, discussed his candidacy for the elections in Bucharest in an interview with Digi24. He emphasized that he relies on the support of President Nicușor Dan, but stressed that the vote of Bucharest residents is the most important. Drulă stated that he is ready for debates with any opponents, including experienced mayors like Daniel Băluță or Ciprian Ciucu.
He explained that, as president, he could help Bucharest more, having an ally in the center of politics. Drulă mentioned that he is prepared to address the necessary reforms in the institutions subordinate to the City Hall. Regarding the polls, he stated that he will not withdraw in favor of the PNL candidate, but will promote discussions about projects for Bucharest. Drulă declared that he is open to any debate considered useful, respecting the candidacies of all those involved, and emphasized the importance of a competition of ideas in the campaign.
