Cătălin Drulă, the USR candidate for the Capital City Hall, stated that he is facing a massive campaign of fake news against him, accusing mafias from PSD and AUR of investing a lot of money to regain control over the city. Drulă highlighted that in the last three days, over 50 false articles have appeared, all coming from the same source, which are promoted on social media and discussed in television shows. He emphasized that these tactics are meant to undermine the honest path started by Nicușor Dan and that citizens want a Bucharest led by honest people. Drulă promised that he will continue to meet with Bucharest residents to listen to their needs and promote a better connected and organized capital.
