Doctor Cătălin Cârstoiu discussed with Marcel Ciolacu about the creation of a medical consortium between the Bucharest University Hospital and the hospitals in Buzău

Cătălin Cârstoiu, the manager of the Bucharest Emergency University Hospital and dean of the Faculty of Medicine, announced a meeting with Marcel Ciolacu, the president of the Buzău County Council, to discuss the possibility of building a medical consortium.

The project aims to collaborate between the University Hospital and the hospitals in Buzău County, subordinate to the County Council, and would require the approval of the Ministry of Health. Cârstoiu emphasized that the initiative aims to improve access to medical services, support medical staff, and develop healthcare infrastructure. So far, the project is in the discussion and analysis stage, and concrete steps for implementation will be established in the upcoming period.
