Nicușor Dan will be present today, in Blaj, at the funeral of Cardinal Lucian Mureșan

Cardinal Lucian Mureșan, Major Archbishop of the Romanian Greek-Catholic Church, passed away at the age of 94, and his funeral will take place on Monday in Blaj. The ceremony will begin with a procession from the Major Archiepiscopal Curia, followed by a liturgy in the 'Holy Trinity' Cathedral, which will be attended by officials and religious leaders. President Nicușor Dan expressed his condolences and emphasized the cardinal's contribution to interfaith dialogue and the revival of the Greek-Catholic Church. The Blaj Local Council has declared Monday a day of local mourning.
