Present at Buftea Police, Călin Georgescu requests the verification of the evidence against him and makes an appeal to Nicușor Dan

On Tuesday, Călin Georgescu, former presidential candidate, appeared once again before the law enforcement at the Buftea Police, being greeted by supporters who welcomed him with flowers and the national anthem. Georgescu made a call to Nicușor Dan, asking him to send a report regarding the cancellation of the 2024 elections in the USA and Israel for expertise.

He emphasized that this report contains unproven accusations against him and requested that it be verified by international authorities. Georgescu is accused of inciting actions against the constitutional order and promoting fascist ideas, but he stated that he takes responsibility if the accusations prove to be true. At the scene, his supporters shouted "Justice, not corruption!", while others booed. Georgescu will sign for judicial control and will send a New Year's message to his fans.
