Bulgaria reached a record number of tourists from Romania in 2025, with nearly one million overnight stays, marking an increase of 8.5% compared to the previous year and a growth of 51.2% compared to 2019, before the pandemic.

The Minister of Tourism, Miroslav Borsos, highlighted these results as the fruit of the Ministry's efforts to promote Bulgaria as a preferred tourist destination through strategic marketing and international partnerships.
