Bulgaria obtains additional revenues of millions of leva in the context of the current crisis caused by the low level of the Danube.

In the context of the crisis caused by the low level of the Danube, Bulgaria has managed to obtain significant additional revenues from electricity exports. The Minister of Energy, Iva Petrova, stated that the country is currently exporting between 32,000 and 33,000 megawatt-hours of energy per day, a record level generated by increased demand from neighboring countries.

This situation has been favored by Bulgaria's strong interconnections with regional energy systems, which allow the country to take advantage of current market conditions. Petrova emphasized the importance of these energy links, which contribute to Bulgaria's economic stability in the face of external challenges. This export capacity not only supports the national economy but also strengthens Bulgaria's position in the regional energy market.
