The installation of the Bucovina Ski Slope in Câmpulung Moldovenesc was intentionally sabotaged, with the electric cables of the ski lift and snow cannons cut. The incident, carried out by a person with knowledge in electricity, led to the inability to start the ski lift and the malfunctioning of the snow cannons, thus affecting the opening of the slope for the upcoming weekend.

The purpose of the sabotage seems to be to block access for skiers and snowboarders during the planned opening period. The Bucovina Ski Slope team is working hard to fix the electrical installations and the artificial snow system, ensuring that the opening is not canceled, but only delayed. Visitors are advised to follow official updates to return to the slope as soon as the systems are repaired.
