The Brașov City Hall has announced the implementation of measures to reduce electricity consumption. Thus, public lighting will start 30 minutes later and will turn off 30 minutes earlier.

This adjustment will be made depending on natural lighting conditions, ensuring the continued safety of pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

Additionally, between 10:00 PM and 12:00 AM, the light flow will be reduced by 20%, and after 12:00 AM, by 50%. The municipality estimates that these measures will lead to a 35% reduction in energy consumption for public lighting.

Furthermore, the City Hall is collaborating with the transport operator to identify energy-saving solutions in public transport. Additionally, another measure includes stopping the air conditioning system at the City Hall.
