Following checks carried out on the DN 5 highway, border guards from Jura discovered 7,008 articles of clothing and perfumery suspected to be counterfeit, without documents of origin. The goods, inscribed with protected brand names, were seized for further investigation, and the authorities are investigating the offense of putting counterfeit goods into circulation, affecting registered trademark owners.
