A border policeman from Arad was arrested after a chase in which 12 shots were fired, accused of stealing 900 cartons of smuggled cigarettes

On Monday night, a senior agent from the Turnu Border Police tried to steal 900 cartons of cigarettes from the criminal police room, being chased by the IPJ Arad. After a dramatic chase, he was stopped with 12 shots. Both he and a shift supervisor suspected of complicity were detained for questioning.
