The National Bank of Romania (BNR) has issued a warning regarding the company Credora Romania, which fraudulently uses the name of BNR to promise loans. BNR officials emphasize that there is no entity registered under this name in the Central Bank's records.

Credora asks users to upload a copy of their identity document and provide personal data to access loans, with an average interest rate of 0.59% per month. BNR recommends the public to check the list of authorized entities before accepting loan offers and to be cautious of possible fraud attempts in the name of BNR.
