The bidding for the design of the new terminal of the "Henri Coandă" International Airport in Bucharest has attracted new offers from major international engineering firms. The project, with an estimated value of 40 million euros, aims to create a terminal of 176,000 square meters, intended for a traffic of 30 million passengers per year until 2040. The new terminal will include modern facilities, such as 48 aircraft parking stands, 20 boarding bridges, and multimodal connectivity. The implementation duration is 126 months (10 years and 6 months), with a modular approach that allows for the gradual commissioning of the terminal.
