BIAS 2026, the sixteenth edition of the Bucharest International Air Show, kicks off today, August 28, at Bucharest Băneasa International Airport and ROMAERO.
The first day is dedicated to official training sessions, accessible for free to the public between 14:30 and 18:30, where spectators will be able to observe the performances of the Frecce Tricolori, Turkish Stars, and the Romanian Air Force. On Saturday, August 29, the main day of the event will take place, featuring a program that includes demonstration flights, ceremonies, and a concert, all with free access. Among the major attractions are fighter aircraft such as Rafale, F/A-18 Hornet, and Eurofighter Typhoon. Additionally, an exhibition dedicated to aviation will be organized, with interactive activities for children and families.
This year's edition is dedicated to Traian Vuia, marking 120 years since his historic flight.
